Like it or not, Donald Trump is the President Elect of the United States of America.
We are all wondering what President Elect Trump will do about the legalization of cannabis and the marijuana industry as a whole. The current stigma of cannabis in this country is quickly vanishing away and it's not coming back.
The soon to be Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, is trying to stop the forward progress of legalization policy from happening here in America.
"We need grown-ups in charge in Washington saying marijuana is not the kind of thing that ought to be legalized, it ought to be minimized, that it is in fact a very real danger. You can see the accidents, traffic deaths related to marijuana. And you'll see cocaine and heroin increase more than it would have, I think."
Trump said previously that he would respect state law and ballot measures on marijuana. Only time will tell how this scenario will play out. Donald Trump is our oldest president elect which makes him more on the conservative stature by default. But he is first and foremost a businessman and everyone knows that numbers don't lie.
Once in office, Trump will have the chance to really see the debt our country is currently in. He will also have a chance to see the total revenue generated form the marijuana industry in its current state. It will be the President's job to get our great nation out of the debt crisis.
Whatever stance Trump decides to take on after his inauguration will determine if there will be a green rush in this country within the next 4 years or not. Helpfully he will connect the dots and see green.
